Other Lawyers in the Legal Community

In addition to practicing civil and criminal law, other lawyers in the legal community may specialize in certain areas of the law. Probate lawyers, bankruptcy attorneys, elder lawyers, and international lawyers may specialize in a particular field. Environmental lawyers, for example, may represent environmental organizations, construction companies, and waste disposal companies. They assist their clients with the necessary paperwork to obtain government approvals and licensing. Intellectual property attorneys may represent clients in disputes over intellectual property rights.
